By downloading, installing, or using the Lesson Frog application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Lesson Frog is a mobile application that enables teachers and students to schedule, manage, and track lessons. Features may include calendar management, reminders, progress tracking, and in-app messaging. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@lessonfrog.com.
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, images, graphics, logos, and icons) are owned by Lesson Frog and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service (such as lesson notes), but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and process that content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lesson Frog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lesson Frog and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@lessonfrog.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
